Autumn Quarter 2009 -- 9th Week (11/17/09)

Large Group
is this Wednesday (I know it's crazy, but roll with it...) from 5-7pm (note the time change!) in Bartlett Trophy Lounge. For those of you who'll still be in town, we'll be having a reflection night and sharing about how God has been working in our lives over the past quarter.

We'll also be sharing pseudo-gifts with one another in a White Elephant gift exchange. Bring a used, cheap, or funny item wrapped in a secret (or misleading) package. Contact Evangelism
The Outreach Team along with members of AAIV and MEIV have been going out on campus to talk to people about Jesus. God's surprised us a lot and we've had a lot of great conversations with people you'd least expect to open up.

Shine Happy
What does the campus need most during Finals Week? If you answered "happiness," you answered correctly! You don't get a cookie for answering correctly, but you can help us out as we spread some cheer on campus by baking some (haha), or better yet, you can actually come out to offer smiles, hugs and prayer for people as they come by our joy-troupe in front of the Reg/Bartlett Quad. Date/time TBA: most likely on Sunday or Monday afternoon.

Caring For One Of Our Own
sarah he is preparing to enter the hospital in a couple of weeks for a long-term stay in order to receive an umbilical cord transplant. please pray for her physical, spiritual, and emotional health. please also intercede on behalf of her family and their financial situation.
